From the Inside Out

Hi, I'm Iris. This portfolio is the story of a cisgender woman who spent most of her adulthood looking outward, starting over more times than I planned, and surviving things she didn't see coming. It wasn't until turning 50 that I stopped long enough to look inward, to sit with the full weight of my own story and ask what growing older on my own terms could actually look like. What I found there was someone I recognized, my parents' daughter, shaped by resilience, fierce dignity, and a curiosity that never really stopped. This is that story.
